College of Fighters[edit]

The bards of the College of Fighters have learned to aid their allies while fighting alongside them. Courage is as important a virtue to them as their music, and they make a point of always putting the safety of their allies ahead of their own.


Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Fighters at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor, shields and weapons of war.


Melody of the fighters' bards

At level 3, you learn to master melodies. Each turn you can use an action or bonus action to play a note of a melody. Once the melody has been completed, all allies within a 3 m radius benefit from the bonus. Only one effect can be applied at a time, if another melody is played before the end of the previous one, the new effects will replace the old ones.

  • Attack melody: Requires 3 notes to play. Any successful attack inflicts 1D6 additional Force damage for 4 turns.

(level 6: 2D6, level 9 : 4D6, level 12 : 4D8, level 15 : 6D8, level 20 : 8D10)

  • Melody of Life: Requires 2 notes to play. You gain 10 Temporary HP for 4 turns.

(level 6: 20, level 9 : 40, level 12 : 60, level 15 : 80, level 20 : 100)

  • Regeneration melody: Requires 4 notes to play. You regain 1D6 hp per turn for 4 turns.

(level 6: 2D6, level 9 : 4D6, level 12 : 4D8, level 15 : 6D8, level 20 : 8D10)

  • Defense melody: Requires 5 notes to play. You gain 2 CA and can no longer be destabilized for 4 turns.

(level 6: 3 CA, level 9 : 4 CA, level 12 : 5 CA, level 15 : 6 CA, level 20 : 8 CA)


Echo waves

At level 6, you recognize the potential of echo waves. 2 times per short or long rest, you can use a bonus action to mark an enemy with the echo wave. Marked enemies take 4D6 Force damage for each melody played. (level 9 : 8D6, level 12 : 8D8, level 15 : 10D8, level 20 : 12D10)

You also realize that with the right weapon, hitting enemies can create notes. You can go to a craftsman and ask him to make you a weapon that will create a note on a successful attack.


Impact echo wave

At level 14, you perfect the Impact Echo Wave. 2 times per short or long rest you can attack a marked enemy with the Impact Echo Wave, which then creates an explosion inflicting 5D8 Force damage to enemies within a 3 m radius and marking them. (level 17 : 10D8, level 20 : 15D8)
