The Claw Gauntlet was originally created for a master thief who wanted to be able to climb and slide down walls, attack, and block, with one weapon. In addition to its use as an off-hand weapon, it provides a +3 shield bonus to AC. Because of its detailed articulation, it has no max dex bonus, and imposes no armor check penalty. The gauntlet also adds a +10 bonus when climbing and also adds a slow fall of 80ft when close enough to a wall to touch it.
