ACTIONS

Multiattack. The chitik makes two attacks.

Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d6) piercing damage, or 4 (1d8) if used in two hands to make a melee attack.

Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.

Chitik are small insect-like nomadic humanoids with an affinity for beasts—wolves, bats, and insects in particular, though they can communicate with all beasts. They have bulbous black eyes, thick carapaces that tend to be black or very dark blue, and six limbs: four arms, and two legs. They train animals as mounts, pets, and hunting companions, and build camps where food is bountiful, sometimes bringing them into conflict with hunters and farmers, for they hunt what they like, taking no heed to property or boundaries.
