Play a chillborn if you want...
- to be as strong as a Dwarf.
- to look like a human.
- to combine strategy and sheer force to make an ultimate fighting machine.
- To be a member of a race that favors the Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Warlord, Barbarian, Sorcerer, and Monk classes.
Physical Qualities[edit]
Chillborn look just like humans, but they have white to grey hair, and blue or gold eyes. They usually grow their hair and beards like dwarves, and like to get dwarven tattoos. Their skin is usually a little pale, but not a lot, and it is tough like leather. They usually wear white or grey clothes to blend in with their environment. Their boots are usually fur, or wrapped cloth, but they think that hard boots are uncomfortable.
Playing a Chillborn[edit]
Chillborn fight with respect for their foes, even if they are a weak enemy. "If they were good enough to fight against me, then they were respectable enough" is what they think. Chillborn cities are not ruled by kings, but rather a clan inside the city. These clans are called "hunting packs", because they are the ones who choose everything, even who goes on the hunting parties. That said, hunting is very important in chillborn society, if a young man is chosen to hunt by the pack, then he must hunt down the animal they told him to, and bring it to show them. After he shows the animal to the Pack, he chooses his mate. Once his mate is chosen, she has to go with him, she doesn't usually adventure, but stays at home, not doing house work and cooking. That is the oldest sons job: splitting firewood, and keeping the house warm. So here is pretty much what chillborn do: live in cities, packs rule cities, boys hunt, men mate, women make fire, son cooks, kids play.

Chillborn Adventurers[edit]
Three sample chillborn adventurers are described below.
Darius is a chillborn fighter. He is powerful and feared among other members of his pack, he rules a city, and unfortunately is one of the rulers who has forgotten why they are out here in the cold. They were banished because they were peaceful, but Darius is anything but that. He crushes any other chillborn cities he finds, leaves no dwarves alive, and takes out any human he sees.
Thoradin is a chillborn bararian. He fights under Darius, but dislikes the war raging thoughts of his leader. He knows that Darius needs to be taken from power, but no one is brave enough to do it. He came up with a plan, it is not like a chillborn, but he will do it, he is going to poison Darius. While Darius had the poison in him, he went into a rage and threw both Thoradin and himself off a cliff. Now that brave Thoradin is no longer alive, but he got rid of a terrible person before he left.
Jenn is a chillborn sorcerer, her husband Thoradin was a great man, until Darius killed him. With her husband gone, it is harder to take care of her child, so she has to hunt and make fire. Her son, Wil, cooks. She thinks she may have to go adventuring to find money for her son, but she doesn't want to leave her only remaining family member. She is, sadly, leaving her son with friends to go adventuring. She has promised her son that she will come back with riches so large, that they will never have to hunt again.
