Chain Tiefling (5e Race Variant)

Tiefling Subrace[edit]
You are a descendant of Chain Devils, and the weapons and tactics of the 3rd hell come naturally to you.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1
Fiendish Weapon Knowledge. You are proficient with flails, whips, and nets.
Animate Chains. You can use your bonus action to create a spectral chain in your empty hands. You are proficient with it while you wield it. The chain is a melee weapon that deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage and has the finesse and reach properties. The chain disappears if it is more than 5 feet away from you for 1 minute or more. It also disappears if you use this trait again, if you dismiss the chain (no action required), or if you die.
