Carianifs live far away from most civil actions, both in the Feywild and occasionally on the Prime Material Plane. Most keep to themselves, away from other fey and humanoids alike. Beasts are the only exception, of which the carianif hold a strong fondness toward. A carianif’s arms contain sharp thorns not unlike a hawthorne tree, which they can grow or drop at will. These thorns are poisonous. A carianif uses these thorns for defense, and have been known to sharpen any that fall off into deadly ranged weapons. The poison that coats these thorns changes once removed from the body, becoming a weakening agent as opposed to a damaging toxin. |
