Ratkeepers are easily the most peaceful of the caligati. They simply like hanging out with their little rat friends, and if they get to kill a few people it's even better. They learned how to lead groups of rats from a forest protected by a ranger conclave, which they then burned to the ground. Caligati ratkeepers are a bit odd in how they fight, hopping in and out of melee as they command their rats to protect themselves and their more vulnerable comrades. They're the only caligati actually interested in helping their fellow caligati, likely due to the swarm mentality they adopt when actively directing their rats. |
