Byss[edit]

A black sword with silver primordial runes.

Chaotic Evil
Domains: Strife, Destruction
Warpriest Domain: Death

Byss is most widely known as the infernal god of chaos. Others know his as the lord of chaos and the king of black chaos. Byss dwells in the elemental chaos. There are rumored thousands of temples in the underdark, hidden from the order on the surface. Others know that sacrificing flesh is a beginning attempt to make Byss look favorably upon you. Those who hate their society deify him. If one gets nothing from Byss they may pray for chaos to unfold on the one that denied them. His worshipers never know how this god wants to get things done, but his followers preach this:

  • Let blood be spilled on all "holy" land.
  • Cause Chaos in all of the Planes
  • Let Nothing or No one stop you.
  • Give the Sword of Kas to Byss, to help him cause chaos.

Cleric Training[edit]

All clerics are trained to cause chaos and destroy the planes using necrotic energies.

Quests[edit]

Assassinating a newly crowned nobleman in plain sight is thought to be one of the most perfect ways to cause chaos, but there are other ways one can cause chaos.

Heralds and Allies[edit]

Byss has 13 main followers, the most famous of which is Hellest, the most powerful Demon.
