Ambusher. The slitherfang has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.

Grappler. The slitherfang has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.

Hold Breath. The slitherfang can hold its breath for 15 minutes.

Land Shark. The slitherfang doesn't provoke opportunity attacks while burrowing.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage. If the target is a creature grappled by the slitherfang, it must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Tongue. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is grappled by the slitherfang (escape DC 12). The slitherfang can immediately use its reaction to force the creature to fall prone. Until the grapple ends, the slitherfang can't make tongue attacks.


Burrowing slitherfangs are a small, pestilent species of dragon that lurk beneath the sands of a few baleful beaches, well known for their quick senses, silent burrowing through sand, and their ability to erupt from the sand, and sometimes devour an entire leg in one go.
