Medium undead, chaotic evil Armor Class 15
Saving Throws Str +6, Dex +8, Con +6 Fire Aura. At the start of each of the ancestor's turns, each creature within 5 feet of it takes 10 (3d6) fire damage, and flammable objects in the aura that aren't being worn or carried ignite. A creature that touches the ancestor or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 10 (3d6) fire damage. ACTIONSMultiattack. The ancestor makes four melee attacks. Khopesh. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage. REACTIONSParry and Counterattack. The ancestor adds 3 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. If this would cause the attack to miss, the ancestor makes one khopesh attack against the attacker. To do so, the ancestor must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon. |
The burning blood ancestors are masters of fighting styles created in ancient times by powerful desert nations. Though they and their empires are now long dead they prowl the scorching sands, enacting the orders of their old rulers, many of which have become mummies or other undead. Undead Nature.
