Bucky the Aarakocra (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Bucky the Aarokocra[edit]
Warlock Subclass
- This is for a home campaign, if some parts do not make sense/seems wild and weird. Feel free to enjoy at your own table, however.
Bucky[edit]
Level 1
You gain the ability to speak, read, and write Auran, the language of Aarokocras. Additionally, you gain advantage on Charisma checks against creatures who you do not share a language with, not counting common.
Metallic Limb[edit]
Level 3
You can replace one of your limbs with a metallic clawed wing, or add it on in addition to your existing limbs. You gain a flight speed of 15ft, but disadvantage on Dexterity checks while flying as you are lopsided. If you already have a flight speed you gain an additional 15ft of movement and do not have disadvantage on Dexterity checks made while you are flying. Additionally, you can make unarmed strikes with the limb. Your unarmed strikes use your Dexterity + proficiency for attacks rolls. It deals 1d6+Dexterity magic slashing damage on hit. The damage increases to 2d6 at level 5, 3d6 at level 11 and 4d6 at level 17.
Also Bucky[edit]
Level 6
Bucky was lost to the Astral plane, his time spent their hardened his willpower, some of which he grants to you. You gain resistance to Psychic and Necrotic damage, immunity if you already have resistance. Additionally, you can always find your way home regardless of where you are and even if you are lost by magical means. Home is a place of your choosing, and you can redefine what home is once per long rest.
Still Bucky[edit]
Level 10
You can become ethereal once per long rest, passing through solid objects for 1 minute. You are unable to interact with anything on the material plane but can hop in and out of the Ethereal plane as an action for the duration.
Final Bucky[edit]
Level 14
You gain plot armor. You cannot be killed outright, to die you must be wounded throughout a 3 session arc that lasts longer than that scene in Naruto where the Hokage casts theh forbidden jutsu that steal Aroshi Marus arms.
