Class Features[edit]
The following features pertain to the Brute:
Regeneration[edit]
Regeneration (Ex) A creature with this extraordinary ability is difficult to kill. Damage dealt to the creature is treated as nonlethal damage. The creature automatically heals nonlethal damage at a fixed rate per round, as given in the entry. Certain attack forms, typically fire and acid, deal lethal damage to the creature, which doesn't go away. The brute heals 1d per Brute/Tough Hero Level per round (max 1d20) and can be knocked unconscious if double his hit points is dealt as nonlethal damage (in one round and hit points cannot fall below -9) , but he automatically stabilizes and heals double the hit points rolled.
Bonus Feat[edit]
At 2nd, 3rd, and 4th level, the Brute gets a bonus feat. The bonus feat must be selected from the following list, and the Brute must meet at least one of the prerequisites of the feat to select it.
Heavy Armour Proficiency, Burst Fire, Double Tap, Advanced Firearms Proficiency, Two Weapon Fighting (Advanced,Improved), Dead Aim, Defensive Martial Arts, Far Shot, Mastercrafter, Power Crit and Heroic Surge.
Explosive Mastery[edit]

One Knee[edit]
One Knee (Ex): The Brute can drop to one knee and gain +4 Con and Str (add Brute level to AC, max +8) and also gains the ability to roll a fortitude save opposed to attack rolls made by the opponent to take half damage on a successful attack roll, it can be used a number of times equal to the characters Brute level (per week, max 8) (When using this the Brute becomes unable to move or as a full round action can move 5ft, if the Brute uses this more than once per day He becomes fatigued and takes a penalty on AC, attack rolls and damage rolls depending on uses. The penalties start at -3 for second use and double after that sequentially).
Weapon Mastery[edit]
Weapon Mastery (Ex): Through years of using one weapon, the Brute gains a +1 with the weapon per Brute level (Max +20) to Attack and damage rolls upon specifying one weapon that is treated as a favored weapon (it can be Melee and unarmed as well)

War Cry[edit]
War Cry (Ex): Everyone within (Base 30ft +5ft per Brute level) has to succeed on a DC15 Will save or have to attack the Brute (overrides original attack if any, cancels it)
Big Shot[edit]
Big Shot (Ex): The Brutes skill with his favored weapon allows him to add +1 per Brute level to Attack, damage or defense in a combat situation (Must specify one, applies to initiating combat, can be a melee or unarmed weapon) (max +6)
Tactical Competence[edit]
Tactical Competence (Ex): The Brute's training allows him to gain an edge over his enemies, giving him a +5 on Knowledge (Tactics) and Knowledge (Technology,Mechanical,Chemical or Structural) checks .
Brute Force[edit]
Brute Force (Ex): The Brutes psychological mind frame allows him to use brute force to his advantage in all situations, giving him a +10 to intimidate and if used in combat the foe must succeed on a DC15 + Brute Level Will save or be dominated by the Brute, unable to move or attack for 1 round per Brute level (max +2) and taking a minus to AC per Brute level (max -5)
Fortification[edit]
Fortification (Ex): The Brute has become hardened by battle, quite literally due to the different types of warfare used in the era, gaining the equivalent Enchantment fortification (changes per brute level - +3 light +6 medium +9 Heavy) this effects the Brutes armor he is wearing and if he is not wearing armor (If not wearing armor, Fortification is halved so from 100% to 50% at max, round down bonuses)
