Innate Spellcasting (Psionics). The mole's innate spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 12). The mole can cast the following spells innately, requiring no material components:

At will: detect magic
1/day: suggestion

Keen Smell. The mole has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Poor Sight. The mole has disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage.

Psionic Drain. Ranged Spell Attack: +4 to hit, range 30 ft., one creature. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) psychic damage. The mole then magically regains hit points equal to half the damage dealt.

Brain moles are tiny burrowing creatures that are almost identical to their ordinary counterparts, except that they feed on psionic energy, which they locate by using their own psionic abilities. When psionic energy is scarce, they subsist off of insects. Their eyesight is poor, so they rely on their other senses, particularly their keen sense of smell.
