The Silencer is very similar to a recurve bow. A second string, attached to holding jacks runs from the limbs and dampen the shot and thus reducing significantly the noise, at also ensures more stability and . The arrow fired is absolutely silent.
The user must be proficient with Recurve bows and have at least a 5 Dexterity modifier or he will take a -4 penalty on attack rolls. If the user is not proficient with any bow, he is unable to fire a Silencer. Characters of large or larger sizes can't fire the Silencer.
