Bore'ing sh0t (3.5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
B0re'ing sh0t [Epic]
An absolute piercing projectile built and designed to make ranged attacks scary in high level games (This is based on Zer0's B0re perk from Borderlands 2).
Prerequisite: Ranger (or similar to Ranger, see special for details), BAB 55, Point Blank Shot, Far Shot, Manyshot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot, Improved Precise Shot, Improved Unarmed Strike, Combat Reflexes, Deflect Arrows, Exceptional Deflection, Infinite deflection, Dimensional Door (as a spell-like ability), Fabricate, (variant rule) If using Immortals Handbook Ascension, Legendary Archer is also required.
Benefit: You must declare if you are using this feat. Your next attack action to fire or throw a projectile will be restricted to 2/3rds the weapons range and all effects to increase range past the weapons base range is ignored. In exchange, the projectile will outright ignore deflect arrows, exceptional defection and reflect arrows. If a monk who uses deflect arrows, exceptional deflection, and or infinite deflection or is a god using divine monk or equivalent to try to deflect this shot, they will find themselves in an unwinnable situation. They will find the attack will spawn additional projectiles that deals twice the damage of the shot that was just deflected and will make 1/2 foot of progress for every deflected projectile until the attack connects. If any being foolish enough to choses to infinitely deflect and not dodge out of the way after the 10th projectile will be met with server consequences. After the 10th projectile, all effects auto succeeds bypassing immunities(including divine immunities), resistances, and spells that is trying to protect the user. This ability is considered an extraordinary ability that has a 1d6 turn cooldown. Reducing the cooldown by any means outside of "Special" is impossible.
Normal: Exceptional Deflection makes any and all range attacks be deflectable with deflect arrows.
Special: A siege weapon can use a 1d4 instead of a 1d6 for the purpose of cooldown. Haste skips 1 turn and Slow adds +1 turn. Other time manipulations does not effect this Feat effect. Classes that count as a ranger despite not being one still meets perquisites to use this ability (a Fighter going Targetteer is one example).
(This feat was created solely to allow range attacks to not be rendered unusable in campaigns dominated by Deflect arrows, this is an absolute effect when in motion. Any ability that tries to deny this feat from doing it's thing while the attack is in motion, is ignored)
(note: If anyone on Dandwiki knows how to to change the title that's currently stuck as "Bore'ing sh0t" to "B0re'ing Sh0t", such help would be appreciated!)
