Broken Bones Necromancer[edit]
Necromancer (Arcane Caster)[edit]
Necromancers are the masters of death and undeath, and utilize fire, poison, disease, magic and corruption magics to overcome their foes. Their choice to purvey the necromantic arts has alienated them from most old-world civilization, in many places they are killed on sight and/or not allowed to buy or sell. As such, the necromancer is forced to be a highly independent class - very few support classes can enhance the necromancer arsenal, and items/gear do not provide the same benefits to their Damage-Over-Time (DOT) spells as they do for other classes that utilize instant magics.
- Necromancers are a casting class with reduced hitpoints, only 1d4 (4) per level.
- Necromancer pets progress in hitpoints (HP) like a full fighter, gaining 1d10 (10) per level.
- The primary attribute of the Necromancer is Intelligence, determining maximum spell points and spellcasting effectiveness.
- The caster cannot cast when stifled, unless they have the feat Silent Casting.
- The caster cannot cast when held, immobile or paralyzed, unless they have the feat Stilled Casting.
- Necromantic spells do not work against creatures who are not normally affected by FORT based attacks, such as undead, golems, or elementals, unless otherwise stated.
- Concentrations: Necromancers are allowed to maintain 3 Concentrations at a time. They are on all the time till dismissed by the Necromancer. Changing a concentration is considered a Move action.
- Stances: Necromancers and their pets are allowed to maintain only 1 Stance at a time. It is on all the time till dismissed by the Necromancer. Changing a Stance is considered a Move action. The Necromancer may have a different Stance than their pet.
