Bone Joint Straps (3.5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Bone Joint Straps are leather straps for use with undead. When used on any creature with the Skeleton template, along with a DC 10 Craft: Corpsecrafting check, it provides the skeleton DR 1/Slashing in addition to it's usual DR 5/Bludgeoning. This is done by wrapping the leather straps around the skeleton's joints to make them much harder to break. If the craft check is failed, the straps are wrapped too tightly and the Skeleton gets a -1 penalty to dexterity until they are removed and rewrapped. Each attempt to use the straps takes 10 minutes for a medium or small sized skeleton, 30 for large or tiny, 90 for huge or diminutive, 4 hours and 30 minutes for gargantuan or fine, and 13 hours and 30 minutes for colossal. For ever 5 the check is beaten by, add 1 to the skeleton's added slashing DR.

Cost 5gp; multiply weight by 3 for every size above medium, divide by 3 for each size small than medium; Weight 1.5lbs; multiply weight by 3 for every size above medium, divide by 3 for each size small than medium.
