In addition, you can use a Bonus Action to detect any creature with less than half their maximum amount of hit points within 30 feet. You can see those creatures regardless of invisibility, obscurement or cover.

Blood Control

You can spend your hit dice, or the hit dice gathered from Bloodied Knife Strike to either gain a bonus of +1 per dice spent on one ability check or saving throw of your choice, or to impose a -1 penalty for an ability check or saving throw of choice.

You can't spend more dice on this feature than your proficiency bonus.

Forceful Transfusion

At 13th level, whenever you use your Bloodied Knife Strike to absorb hit dice, you can spend those dice to regain your own hit dice.

You can't have more hit dice than your maximum through the use of this feature.
