Blaster Magus (simple)[edit]
This is an archetype of the Magus class.
Keep your distance if you wish. My sword is powerful enough to strike you down from here.
Blaster Magus Features[edit]
Weapon Blast (Su): Starting at 2nd level, you may use any magic melee weapon to make ranged attacks as if it were a projectile weapon with a range increment of 20 feet. Ranged attacks you make in this manner do not provoke attacks of opportunity, and can be made while using spell combat at if they were melee attacks. When you use this ability, your weapon remains in your possession and fires a blast of wind. On a successful hit, this blast deals the same damage as the firing weapon, except you take a –5 penalty on your damage roll. Aside from dealing damage (including any relevant damage modifiers and additional damage dice), the blast does not produce any effect that would be produced by a melee attack made with the firing weapon.
This replaces spellstrike.
