Physical Description[edit]
Blastborn look mostly human however their torso is much larger than average to hold the explosives also depending on their sub race they have different alterations to their appearance
History[edit]
Blastborn are beings of pure destruction made by powerful artificers originally to be used in mines to remove stone however it became clear that they were also capable of destroying any kind of barricade wall or item. their power comes from their powerful explosions.
Society[edit]
Blastborn are mostly solitary avoiding other out of fear of blowing them up
Blastborn Names[edit]
Blastborn are often named after their creator however some choose their own name usually relating to demolition

Blastborn Traits[edit]
Explosive machines made for destruction
Ability Score Increase. Your constitution score increases by 2
Age. Blastborn can live for hundreds of years
Alignment. Blastborn tend to be chaotic due to their destructive design
Size. Blastborn vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Darkvision. You were made to work in mines. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Detonate. As an action you may choose to detonate making everyone in a 30ft radius need to make a dexterity saving throw if they fail they take 2d10f ire damage or half as much on a success when you detonate you take 1d12 fire damage. after detonating you cannot detonate again in your next turn
Living Construct. Even though you were constructed, you are a living creature. You are immune to diseases. You do not need to eat or breathe, but you can ingest food and drink if you wish. Instead of sleeping, you enter an inactive state for 4 hours each day. You do not dream in this state; you are fully aware of your surroundings and notice approaching enemies and other events as normal.
Minor blast. As an action you can shoot out a 15ft cone anyone in the cone has to make a dex save taking 1d6 fire damage on a fail or half as much on a success however you then take 1d4 fire damage
Blast resistant. Due to exploding constantly you have resistance to fire damage
Explosive body. If you are reduced to 0 hp by fire damage you do not make death saves and activate detonate
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
Dynamite[edit]
Ability Score Increase. You gain plus 1 to strength
Bigger bang. Your detonate radius is increased to 40ft your detonate die is increased to 3d10 and your minor blast die is increased to 1d10 and its range is increased to a 20ft cone
Bursting blows. On any successful attack you may deal an additional 1d4 fire damage on melee attack however you will take 1d4 fire damage as well
C4[edit]
Ability Score Increase. You gain plus 1 to dexterity
Sticky bomb. You have 3 charges on successful melee attack roll as a bonus action you can expend a charge to stick a bomb to whoever you hit. As an action you can detonate the bomb make anyone in a 15ft radius of the bomb have to make a dex save they take 1d12 fire damage on a fail or half as much on a success the target auto fails the dex save you can regain charges on a long rest
Place and run. You gain 5ft of movement speed and after placing a bond you gain an additional 5ft of movement speed that lasts until you detonate the bomb
Grenade[edit]
Ability Score Increase. You gain plus 1 to constitution you may not go above 20 in one stat
Pellet burst. The damage type of detonate and minor blast is changed to piercing
Hard exterior. Your unarmored defense becomes 12 + dexterity modifier unless it would be higher otherwise
Shrapnel. You can now add your constitution modifier to your detonate and minor blast damage
Molotov[edit]
Ability Score Increase. You gain plus 1 to charisma
Burning. If you fail the dexterity save from detonate or minor blast you are set ablaze and start taking 1d4 fire damage each turn for 5 turns or until put out
Ignite. As an action you can ignite one weapon making it deal 1d4 bonus fire damage for 1 minute
