Blasphemy of Life[edit]
By spending 15 ki points, as a standard action, you replicate the necrotic curse [1] spell. It lasts one hour and its effect is different: any healing in the area that doesn't pass the caster level check (DC equal to 20 + your relevant ability modifier) inflicts half of the damage it would have cured to the recipient(s). The effect is centered on you and it follows you.
In addition to the normal means of ending a technique's duration, this effect can be ended by a remove curse (or similar spell) cast within its area for that purpose.
By spending 17 ki points you also may negate effects that restore ability damage or drain, using the same caster level check.
You may increase the area of effect by 5 feet (1,5 meters) by spending 1 extra ki point per each increment.
This counts as a supernatural ability.
