The Bladgener (Blad-gen-er) is a curious weapon akin to a trident with built-in hand grips on the shaft. These grips are encapsulated in large armoured protectors which equates to the weapon possessing for all intents and purposes a buckler and thus a +1 to AC to anyone proficient with this Exotic Weapon.
