Weapon (shortsword), legendary (requires attunment)
This dual kodachi was created by a famous monk blacksmith, it was considered too short to be a longsword and too long to be considered a dagger. The blades share the same sheath at opposite ends of the sheath. These magical weapons have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls and deal 1d8 slashing damage instead of piercing damage. When you score a critical with this weapon roll a d12 to see which body part you cut off. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, doesn't have that body part, has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for its body part to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 14 slashing damage from the hit.
