Harnessing the black force of nature, called the Seed of Evil, you spawn roots, vines and low branches, all dark and twisted in appearance, that entrap your foe, damaging and poisoning them.
You replicate the spell entangle, but it lasts one round per level and the vines may not come from actual plants (you may generate them in any terrain).
At 3rd level the plants grow thorns that deal 1 point of piercing damage per two class level (up to a maximum of 10) to anyone entangled or passing through the invocation area.
This damage overcomes magical damage reduction.
At 8th level creatures damaged by the thorns must pass a Fortitude save to avoid being immediately subjected to a venom.
A failed save means the subjects suffers 1d4+1 of ability damage to Strength and Dexterity. A subject afflicted may not suffer the effect again until its abilities scores are restored.
The subject has to repeat the save one hour later. If failed, it suffers the effect again. After this the venom is cleared from the body, regardless of the result of the save.
