Betrayed Aasimar (5e Subrace)
From D&D Wiki
Aasimar Subrace[edit]
You were betrayed in some way by your celestial brethren, whether that be a false accusation for some heinous crime or sabotaging you from achieving a major goal you worked towards for years, you no longer feel any positive emotions towards the celestials you used to call family. Unlike fallen Aasimar, you were not influenced by some evil power, though your divine powers have been taken over by an entirely different energy, powered by the rage inside you.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Elemental Resistance. Rather than your standard resistance to necrotic and radiant damage, you are resistant to radiant and one other type of damage from acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, and thunder. This choice will also determine the type of damage done by your Elemental Assault feat.
Elemental Assault. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the turmoil within yourself, causing your eyes to shine with the color of the elemental energy inside and two, large, feathered wings to sprout from your back, interlaced with the power and spark of the element you chose.
- Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you have a flying speed of 30 feet, and once on each of your turns, you can deal extra damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra damage equals your level.
- Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
