Tiefling Subrace[edit]
Bestial Tieflings are created by demons to wreak havoc upon the mortal realms. They do not have to follow this path, but their ancestry is clear as the sky, so they are judged just as much as any other tiefling. Rumors would suggest that Bestial Tieflings are bloodthirsty monsters that feed on children's organs or some similarly unpleasant trait. But such things are assumptions based on actions taken by very few, projected on to many.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity or Strength score increases by 1.
Claws, horns, and teeth. Your nails and teeth are sharper than most, and your horns hit with the force of the abyss. Your Unarmed Strikes deal 1d6 + Strength bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage (your choice). Additionally, you have a climbing speed equal to half your movement speed (rounded down).
Thrashing Tail. Your tail is more advanced than most tieflings, enabling some unusual abilities:
- Your tail can carry objects like your hands, if it could reasonably do so and if the object weighs no more than your Strength score in pounds.
- You may wield weapons using your tail, as long as the weapon it wields is one-handed.
- You can make unarmed strikes, grapples and shoves using your tail.
Abyssal Flame. You know the produce flame cantrip, and Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.
