Battle Wizard

Martial Training

When you choose this arcane tradition at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with simple weapons and with light armor, as well as two melee martial weapons of your choice. Additionally, your hit point maximum increases by 2, and it increases by 1 again every time you gain a level in this class.

Fighting Style

By the time you choose this arcane tradition at 2nd level, you have adopted a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one fighting style from the list available to the fighter class. You can't take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again.

Extra Attack

Beginning at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Offhand Spellcasting

Also beginning at 6th level, whenever you use the Cast a Spell action on your turn to cast a wizard cantrip, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.

Arcane Disruption

Starting at 10th level, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, that creature has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes against a wizard spell you cast before the end of your next turn.

Spectral Sword

At 14th level, you add the spell arcane sword to your spellbook. If you already have that spell in your spellbook, you can add a different wizard spell of 7th level or lower to your spellbook. You can cast the spell arcane sword once between long rests without expending a spell slot, regardless of whether or not you have it prepared. You gain this benefit regardless of which spell you gain from this feature.
