Tiefling Subrace[edit]
Your devilish heritage comes from Barbatos, the Bearded Lord, and ruler of the first layer of Hell. Barbatos is a mysterious entity, not truly a devil but of unknown origin, and the urge to hide and keep secrets is strong within those Tieflings that carry his lineage, as well as his manipulative magics.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Legacy of the Bearded Lord. You know the friends cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the charm person spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast the enthrall spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Whispers of the First. You have resistance to psychic damage. You have proficiency with the Nature skill. If you are already proficient with this skill, you gain proficiency with another skill of your choice. This trait replaces Hellish Resistance.
