Physical Qualities[edit]
An Azer-Kai has almost metallic skin that can be bronze, gray, or anything in between. They have rough features and are well built, usually sporting large muscles and facial hair, although not as much as their Azer ancestors. Unlike their Azer ancestors, they have the ability to light and put out their fiery hair at will. When an Azer-Kai doesn't have it in fire form, it's hair can be either black, white or gray in color. They wear their hair in a variety of ways, but it is usually worn long, like their Shadar-Kai ancestors.
Playing an Azer-Kai[edit]
Azer-Kai are cunning creatures and are brutally strong. They are usually forced to wander the world in search of a home due to the fact that in Shadar-Kai regions, they are seen as freaks and outcasts. Azers, however, treat their kin with respect, although there are very few places in the planes where Azers are abundant. Many Azer-Kai are proud of their heritage, but some are ashamed of being descended from such naturally evil races. Azer-Kai are very few, and it is said that the first Azer-Kai were descended from an Azer male named Algrim, and a Shadar-Kai female named Ilrene, who were imprisoned together by Fire Giants, but were able to escape because of their teamwork. The Azer-Kai people wander the world, many in search for adventure or a place where they can fit in.
Azer-Kai Characteristics: Stubborn, Sneaky, Crafty, Independant
Male Names: Erevin, Alrok, Dantruk, Aldin
Female Names: Eralan, Vinnalil, Ilrana
Azer-Kai Adventurers[edit]
A sample azer-kai adventurers are described below:
Erevin was an Azer-Kai Ranger born in the Shadowfell, in a city of Shadar-Kai. As a child he was told that he was a pure-bred Shadar-Kai, but he was seen by others as an outcast and he was never treated well by the Shadar-Kai. When he reached his 18th year of life he had a vision of his father whom he never knew, an Azer. In his vision his father told him about his true heritage. Erevin then left the Shadowfell in search of adventure and a place where he would be excepted.
