Duration: 1 minute


You surround yourself with a thin aura of protective shadow

You protect the target from temperature extremes and cold or hot energy with a thin layer of shadowy protection. The target is immune from normal temperature extremes and absorbs 48 points of hot or cold energy before dispersing. For as long as the aura is active, the subjects weapon or natural weapon melee attacks deal an extra 1d6 points of cold damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5 or higher add 2 rounds to the duration and 12 more points of energy resist for each spell level above 4th used. If you have mastery of the Elemental Shadows path, add 2 rounds to the duration and 12 points of energy resist.
