Astral Dogs[edit]

Humanoid dogs, which possess a small amount of magical power. (Ok, I'm not sure and it's possible that there are still problems involving fluff, but I think it's all set, Sorry if it's not fixed yet.)

Physical Description[edit]

They are canines with humanoid appearance and form. Their fur color and other canine traits vary widely.

History[edit]

They are humanoid creatures resembling dogs, created as the result of a mage's experiment, which granted them a more human-like appearance, intelligence, and innate magical power. Following this experiment, they escaped and spread across the world.

Society[edit]

They typically live in communities made up almost entirely of other Human Dogs, but they may also settle in communities of other races.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]

They strongly believe in Harmony, Hospitality, and the welfare of the Community, valuing peaceful solutions to conflicts before considering more violent options. Human Dogs culture despises Violence, Vulgarity, and Tyranny, while holding Goodness, Kind Deeds, and Friendship in high regard.

Astral Dogs Names[edit]

Astral dogs have names similar to humans.

Male: Fenrir, Garrus, Barkor, Luthor, Ragnel.

Female: Lyra, Faela, Nimira, Arwen, Veska.

Astral Dogs Traits[edit]

As an astral dog, you gain the following traits: Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom, Inteligence or Charisma score increases by 2, and your score in one other Ability score of your choice increases by 1.
Age. They reach maturity at 23 years old and live 200 to 280 years.
Alignment. They are generally of good alignment.
Size. they are about 4 to 4'9 in height. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colors in darkness, only shades of gray.
Magic connection. You have an innate magic within you that came from your ancestors, Choose 1 cantrip from the Spell list of Sorcerer Class, Your spellcasting modifier is either Charisma, Wisdom, or Intelligence, you choose when you choose this race.
Heightened Senses. His senses of hearing and smell are as sharp as a dog's, You have advantage on wisdom (perception) checks that rely on hearing and smell.
Mental resilience. Your mind is strong and difficult to penetrate. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and has resistance to psychic damage.
Empathy. You can more easily understand the feelings of others and feel their intentions. As a bonus action You may have advantage on all Wisdom (Insight) checks for 1 minute. You can use this ability one time before having to complete a Long rest.
Dog bite. You have sharp dog teeth that let you bite others. You can make an unarmed strike that deals 1d4 + your Strength modifier as piercing damage.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and two other languages of your choice.
