Tiefling Subrace[edit]
Astaroth is a duke of hell, who commands 40 legions of demons. He has power over invisibility, serpents, and finding hidden treasures. He appears as a nude humanoid with feathered wings, a crown, holding a serpent in one hand and riding a draconic serpent.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Legacy of the Serpentine Duke. You know the ray of frost cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the speak with animals spell an unlimited number of times with this trait, but you can only target snakes with it. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast the invisibility spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Goetic Resistance. You have resistance to poison damage. This trait replaces the Hellish Resistance trait.
