Ascûdgamln (fists of steel in Dwarvish) are weapons made by the dwarves. They are metal studs attached to the knuckles of the bearer's hand, enabling the bearer to punch through material he would otherwise be unable to. In order to obtain a set of Ascûdgamln, the user must first be put into a magical slumber while small holes are drilled into the knuckles and the studs are inserted. After one week of recovery time for the Ascûdgamln to set, their damage increase replaces all unarmed strike attacks using a fist to 1d6 lethal blugeoning damage. Ascûdgamln cannot be disarmed; and they give the user a +10 on attempts to Sunder an opponent's weapon. The operation required to obtain a set of Ascûdgamln takes a toll on the body however; Subtract 1 from your hit points gained at each level, including levels already acquired.
