Arnleif was an Ice Elemental known as the Ice Queen, of the Northern Wastes. When the Ice Legion separated from the Ice Nation and threatened to end the lives of the Viking newcomers, Arnleif was outraged. Using all the power she had available to her she trapped the Ice Legion deep below the ground in frozen caverns. In the place that she used her power a tall spire of ice remained with her mortal body locked inside. Her soul entered the Para-Elemental Plane of Ice and was gifted with a small Divine Essence. She uses the spire as a means to communicate with her subjects and take an illusionary form to meet them. The form she takes is of a young woman in her early twenties. She looks completely human except for her skin has the appearance of ice.
Dogma[edit]
Anrleif's followers are the Vikings of the Northern Wastes. Her followers follow strict traditions that manage everything from wars and leadership, to trade and daily life. To break the tradition of a Viking's own Clan or that of the current High Clan (Clan of the current High Jarl) is punished by exile into the unforgiving wastes. If they survive a year in the wilds they are permitted to return to their old Clan, as it means they have passed the Trial of the Ice Queen.
Clergy and Temples[edit]
Her Main Temple is built around the Ice Spire that contains her mortal body. The Temple and Spire are located in Thysodael, home of Clan Urfrey. Small personal shrines may exist within the homes of her followers, and each Viking Clan has a small Temple.
Pantheon[edit]
Arnleif is part of the Mordayain Pantheon.
