An armadillo is a rodent-like mammal characterized by a thick but somewhat flexible armor that covers most of its quadruped body, almost like scale mail. When threatened, it curls into a ball covered in this armor, which can be surprisingly difficult to penetrate. Without a supernatural influence like magic, they almost never fight back. |
