Spider Walk. The arcovinge can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Shapechanger. The arcovinge can use its action to polymorph into a spider or back into its true form, which is a humanoid vampire. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying is absorbed into its body.

ACTIONS

Bite (Vampire Form). Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one willing creature, or a creature that is grappled by the arcovinge, incapacitated, or restrained. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) piercing damage plus 10 (3d6) necrotic damage. The target's hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken, and the arcovinge regains hit points equal to that amount. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.

Spider Form. The arcovinge transforms into a spider or back into its true form. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying is absorbed into its body.
