Wizard School
Doctors spend years training, learning, and practicing and never truly finishing their education. You are no different, while many doctors pick a specialty like Oncology or Neurology, you decided on a bit of an unorthodox specialty. You are a specialty that few ever think of, a Arcanist Doctor. You spent years in medical school (or your setting equivalent) and chose the speciality.
- White Grimoire
At 2nd level, you learn how to write healing spells on your grimoire. You add cure wounds to your spellbook.
In addition, the following spells are added to your wizard's spell list, and can be chosen when you gain new spells, or copied when found written on books or scrolls: healing word, lesser restoration, revivify, mass healing word, mass cure wounds, heal, raise dead, resurrection, true resurrection.
- Medicinal Magic
When you choose this school at 2nd level, you learn the spare the dying cantrip, and when you target a creature with spare the dying, you can choose another creature within 30 feet to also be affected by it.
In addition, you gain proficiency in Medicine and with the herbalism kit, and you can add your Intelligence modifier to your checks with those proficiencies.
- Healing Surge
Also at 6th level, whenever you cast a spell that restore a creature's hit points using an Action, you can use a bonus action to choose another creature within 30 feet to regain a number of hit points equal to 1d6 per level of the spell slot spent.
- Restorative Surge
At 10th level, whenever you remove a condition from a creature using a Wizard spell, you can choose another creature within 30 feet to also have that condition removed.
- Superior Medicine
When you reach the 14th level, you can cast a spell of your choice from your White Grimoire list, and cast it once, without spending material components, and as a 6th-level spell. Once you do so, you can't do it again until you complete a long rest.
