Before you crawls a mass of insects. Your skin crawls as you hear their tiny jaws snapping.

Ant swarms are feared in the less populated regions of the world. Thousands of small, biting mouths with no escape is enough to put fear into any man.

Combat[edit]

An ant swarm seeks to surround and attack any living prey it encounters. A swarm deals 1d6 points of damage to any creature whose space it occupies at the end of its move. If a swarm successfully kills a creature, it will begin tearing it apart to transport back to the colony.

Distraction (Ex): Any living creature that begins its turn with an ant swarm in its space must succeed on a DC 11 Fortitude save or be nauseated for 1 round. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Skills: An ant swarm has a +4 racial bonus on Hide and Climb checks.
