From D&D Wiki
Ancient Stag Centaur[edit]
Large fey, neutral good Armor Class 15 (natural armour, 16 with barkskin)
Proficiency Bonus +5 Charge. If the stag centaur moves at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a ram attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 10 (2d4 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. Innate Spellcasting. The stag centaur's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 19). The stag centaur can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components: At will: druidcraft, pass without trace, plant growth, prestidigitation, produce flame, shillelagh, thaumaturgy Magic Resistance. The stag centaur has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Speak with Beasts and Plants. The stag centaur can communicate with beasts and plants as if they shared a language. Tree Stride. Once on its turn, the stag centaur can use 10 feet of its movement to step magically into one living tree within its reach and emerge from a second living tree within 60 feet of the first tree, appearing in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the second tree. Both trees must be large or bigger. Thorns of Nature. When the stag centaur is attacked by an enemy while it is not incapacitated, it deals 5 (1d10) piercing damage with thorns on its skin to the attackers every time they attack it. ACTIONSClaws. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage. Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage. Ram. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d4 + 5) bludgeoning damage. Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage, or 9 (1d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage with shillelagh or if wielded with two hands. Animate Trees (1/Day). The stag centaur magically animates one or two trees it can see within 60 feet of it. These trees have the same statistics as a treant, except they have Intelligence and Charisma scores of 1, they can't speak, and they have only the Slam action option. An animated tree acts as an ally of the stag centaur. The tree remains animate for 1 day or until it dies; until the stag centaur dies or is more than 120 feet from the tree; or until the stag centaur takes a bonus action to turn it back into an inanimate tree. The tree then takes root if possible.

Age-old protectors of the forest, the elder stagtaurs are fearsome when defending their lands. Those who would dare trespass can only watch in horror as the very trees around them come to life and serve the guardian stagtaur's will. |
