Note: this race is designed to be played in a modern setting.

Physical Description

With their penchant for war and fast food, Americans are more physically similar than other humans. An individual can stand from 5 feet to a little over 6 feet tall and weigh from 120 to 244 pounds. American skin shades range from nearly black to very pale, and hair colors from black to blond (curly, kinky, or straight); males might sport facial hair that is sparse or thick. Americans reach adulthood in their late teens and rarely live even a single century.

History

Americans have a deep and rich history, originally forging themselves in war based on the need for their voices to be heard and unlimited by injustice. The battles throughout history has taught them the importance of the possession of weapons, as any force against the possession of weapons is a force of oppression, preventing the Americans from protecting or securing their persons, as if loosing some of their personhood. Like their forefathers, they yearn for opportunity to prove again to the world that they are as great as they claim to be, and deserve a recognition for their contributions to the world.

Society

American society has proved to properly display their culture, especially regarding their great valuation of individual freedom and possession of weapons as seen in a great acceptance of only displaying which weapons they carry throughout their days. They have a strong culinary culture, focusing on the preparation of meat in various forms, heating sources, and garnishes to accentuate the flavor of their food. It is a shame that their great engagement with food has led to a super-majority of Americans to be bodily heavier than is medically preferable. It is a known fact that nearly all Americans have a deep hatred and distrust towards monarchy as well as royalty.

Age. Americans have an average life expectancy of 78.69 years, and reach maturity at 18 due to the 26th amendment.
Alignment. Americans value their rules and laws quite heavily, tending toward lawful, though the moral nature of these rules may sit anywhere between good and evil, despite their many claims that they are lawful good.
Size. Americans have the same size as humans, and tend to weigh a couple dozen pounds more
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
1st Amendment. You cannot be silenced by magical or other means, and are proficient with the Religion skill.
2nd Amendment. You are proficient in all types of firearms.
American Dream. Because of your optimism and inability to say no, you have advantage on Performance and Persuasion skill checks.
Patriotism. Americans have an ability to communicate simple ideas to bald eagles, and are resistant to radiant damage.
I will die on my feet before I will live on my knees. Any to all attempts at affecting the mind(or controlling of the body)of Americans from anyone or anything but themselves will result in immediate failure however every attempt that is made will result in the American taking 1d4 Psychic damage(any psychic damage done to a American will result in no more than 1d4 of Psychic damage).
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and American. American is a dialect of the English language, with large use of slang and emojis.
