Upon casting this spell, you transform the crystal or gemstone in your hand into a crystalline spike, about the size of a railroad spike, which then shoots toward your target. You must succeed on a ranged touch attack with the spike to deal damage to a target. The needle deals 1d6 points of piercing damage per caster level (maximum 5d6).
Material Component: Any crystal or gemstone, worth at least 1 gp.
