This spell maintains a gravesite, headstone, tomb, sarcophagus or urn from ordinary wear and tear. It also allows the caster to set traps doing up to 20d8 (total divided among traps) damage of any magical or physical sort. This damage grants a saving throw of a type determined by the DM based on the nature of the trap. Each trap may be different, and this spell can be cast multiple times. This does not actually protect a body, just a coffin, gravestone or other accoutrements. The caster spend 1d8 worth of damage and instead make the object immune to one magical effect or type of intrusion (e.g. "picking locks", "fire magic").

It is not possible to use this spell, or an item protected by it, in combat, such as by throwing a gravestone at opponents (in which case the spell would correctly determine that the thrower is the one threatening to harm it and would act accordingly).
