Abyssal Returner[edit]
After delving into the abyss, you were lost, abandoned, or trapped. Surviving on the many levels of the Abyss has taken a toll on your body and mind. Those who have been lost in the abyss don't survive long, but there are a few who have the chance to escape with their lives.
When creating your Character, ask yourself these questions: Who were you before your time in the abyss? Were you an adventurer? A simple porter for your old party? How long have you been trapped there? How have you changed due to your time in the Abyss?
Skill Proficiencies: Survival, Stealth
Languages: Abyssal, or another language thematically appropriate to your Character.
Equipment: Belt pouch with 5gp, Explorer's Pack, and a set of torn traveler's clothes
Feature: Abyssal Knowledge[edit]
After spending months, or even years within the Abyss, You are able to innately tell apart the layers of the Abyss. You are able to tell what level of the abyss you are on after spending at least 1 minute observing your surroundings.
Alternate Feature: Abyss-Touched[edit]
The Abyss has an innate feeling, a whisper that permeates through every inch of the infinite Abyss. You are able to feel this whisper, being capable of exerting a small amount of your will upon the Abyss, allowing you to feel the beings within. While you are within the abyss, you have advantage on Survival checks.
