Dive Attack. If the skeleton is flying and dives at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a melee weapon attack, the attack deals an extra 3 (1d6) damage to the target.


Talon. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) slashing damage.

Javelin. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.

An aarakocra with the Skeleton template applied to it. Commonly used as aerial units by necromancers, aarakocra skeletons are deadlier than their terrestrial kin due to their built-in weapons many other skeletons lack. The same magic that animates them gives them strength in their featherless, bony wings, for they wouldn't be able to fly otherwise.

Undead Nature. An aarakocra skeleton doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
