-running now? Oh! look it writes so quickly, how does it know what I'm saying? well- oh but i don't want to tire it out, here quick turn it off for-

Hello! this is my book, please sit down and have some tea although- now that i think about it i cant really offer you tea because you're reading this after I've spoken it or, writing it i guess even though I'm not the one doing the writing. My grandson came all the way here from the big city and gave me this mechanical scribe as a gift for my 240th birthday, isn't he so sweet... I'm sorry i got distracted what were we doing? Oh yes, My name is Thistle and i have been traveling from halfling hill, to halfling town collecting as much as i can of our peoples contributions to my new favorite hobby, Violence! I don't know why no one told me how much fun it was sooner- just the other day i killed this strange but rude ball with many eyes and it was wonderful! But enough chit chat let me get into the weapons.

Martial melee weapons

Polearm 15 Gp, 1d8 piercing, 5ft, two handed

Sticks with sharp things on the end are some of the oldest killing tools! From pikes to halberds you have to respect a classic.

Features

When a pole arm is made it’s creator chooses one of the following features for it:

- the pole arm has the thrown property with a range of 20/60ft

- the pole arm has the finesse property and deals slashing damage

- the pole arm has a range of 10ft

- The pole arm has the versatile property with 1d6/1d8 and can be used in Shield tactics

Axe, large 20 Gp, 1d10 slashing, 5ft, two handed, heavy

Personally, I'm too small for an axe as big as this but I've seen what they can do and it's very fun to watch.

Features A wielder may expend an action to prepare a full power attack. on the turn after the action is spent the axe temporarily deals 1d12 slashing. A creature must have a strength of 14 or higher to be proficient with this weapon.

Simple melee weapons

Skipping fish 15 Gp, 1d6 slashing, 5ft(30ft), thrown

Of course, you have heard the song of the Fishskipper family before where a mean troll is defeated by a well thrown fish? This metal fish seeks to replicate the story and is specially jointed to replicate the natural floppiness of a real fish.

Features

When a skipping fish is thrown less then five feet above the surface of a liquid for 10ft or more, it gains a thrown range of 60ft. After an attack roll with this weapon is resolved you may take the base roll (the roll without any modifiers) and add your wisdom modifier to it. If the roll is higher than (15 - your proficiency bonus) this weapon returns to your hand.
