The Ring of Dimensional Rifts (5e Equipment)

Ring, artifact This ring is an ancient artifact created by a group of powerful Mages skilled in the art of crossing in between the planes of reality. Only 7 are known to exist, one for each member of the group that created them. These rings are very powerful, being able to tear a hole in the fabric of universes and creating a bridge between them. All the user must do to use this ability is to think of the dimension they want to go to (and if they are familiar with specific location they may go there) and speak the command word. Once these conditions have been met, the ring will glow and create a rift to the desired dimension in a 2 foot area near the user that anyone may use. The rift stays open until the creature in possession of the ring passes through.
