Agatha's Cryptic Prediction
Divination
Level: Sor/Wiz 2
Components: V, S, F, M
Casting time: 10 minutes
Range: Personal (or touch; See text)
Target: You (or touched subject; See text)
Duration: Instantaneous

Similar to Divination, but requires the incredibly expensive crystal ball.

This spell allows you to glimpse the future with the use of a Crystal Ball, but in obscure and not always helpful ways. Upon casting this spell, the threads of fate reveal to you a true glimpse of the future, which will prove to come true, but may be blurred, incredibly vague, or not fully coherent. The caster is generally able to best explain their visions by way of a riddle or otherwise seemingly obtuse phrasing.

Additionally, this spell can be cast on one person or creature within reach by touching them. Doing so causes the prophecy to relate to your target in some way.

As with augury, multiple divinations about the same topic or creature by the same caster will yield the same result every time.

Material Components: A pinch of crystal glitterdust worth at least 10gp.

Focus: A Crystal Ball.
