Conflict[edit]

One of my players, a Squirl folk, is convinced he can use this spell to apear like a dragon of his size. i disagree. any opinions? --  Tug   talk    contribs    email   15:56, 4 February 2009 (MST)

--He'd be thinking of alter self i belive and no, he can't. Steel
" You cannot change your body type." Squirl(?) != Dragon. --TK-Squared 22:33, 4 February 2009 (MST)
though you can make your self talller, fatter, make your armor look like a dress, body type is out of the question ShadowyFigure 04:44, 5 February 2009 (MST)
Exactly what i thought, but Wouldnt Alter self prevent him from assuming the form of a dragon as well, as it says "creature of your type?" --  Tug   talk    contribs    email   18:11, 5 February 2009 (MST)

Missing details?[edit]

Some illusions spells state they have a will save for disbelief, but I don't actually see where or what the DC for that is, or even how one finds the value for the DC. Where/how can I determine the DC for spells like that? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.158.17.241 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.

Yeah, it is a little hard to find, annoyingly. The save DC for any spell (if not otherwise specified) is specified on the relevant class's page under the spellcasting feature. The DC for a saving throw against a caster's spell is 10 + Spell Level + Caster's Main Casting Ability (e.g. Intelligence for Wizards) --SgtLion (talk) 02:43, 16 November 2014 (MST)
