Spider spine Level 5 Disease
Parasitic hatchlings of the heart burst spider feed on the spine of a humanoid victim. Eventually they will burst out, killing the victim.
Stage 0: The target recovers from the disease.
Stage 1: Bruises form across the victim's back. While affected by stage 1, the target has vulnerability 1 to all damage.
Stage 2: The victim's whole back is bruised and covered in pustules. While affected by stage 2, the target has vulnerability 2 to all damage.
Stage 3: A swarm of heart burst spiderlings burst out of the victim. The victim immediately dies. (Final State)


Check: At the end of each extended rest, the target makes an Endurance check if it is at stage 1 or 2. 9 or Lower: The stage of the disease increases by 1. 10 - 14: No change. 15 or Higher: The stage of the disease decreases by 1.
