Prerequisite: Glyphologist
In order for art to be truly impressive, it must prove the test of time. Truly great art can last for generations without any upkeep. The glyphs you create will endure. The magic may fade but the beauty imbued in your creations will last for generations to come. By carving your runes into strong wood or metal, you ensure that they will last, and by mastering the art of the forge, you can create glyphs that will hold their magic eternally in steel.
Glyph Forger Path Features[edit]
- Emblazon Armor (11th Level): At the end of an extended rest, you can emblazon a suit of armor with an elemental glyph. While emblazoned the armor grants resist 5 damage to fire, radiant, necrotic, lightning, force, or cold. This effect lasts until the end of an extended rest.
- Emblazon Weapon (11th Level): At the end of an extended rest you can emblazon a weapon of y our choice with an elemental glyph. While emblazoned, the weapon gains a +5 bonus to damage rolls and can deal damage of a chosen type when making a basic attack. Choose one of the following damages when you emblazon a weapon; ire, radiant, necrotic, lightning, force, or cold. This effect lasts until the end of an extended rest.
- Glyphic Bombs (16th Level): At the end of an extended rest, you can create 5 glyphic bombs using any solid object you are carrying. When you use an glyphologist power that requires an invoke cost, you can throws a glyphic bomb up to five squares (small item), or 3 squares (large item) and treat the space the bomb lands in as the origin square. Additionally the bombs can pay for the invoke costs of spells that require a glyph you choose when they are created. The bombs last until the end of an extended rest.
